Our Network
Immanuel Anglican Church is a daughter of the Anglican Diocese of the Upper Midwest, a movement that is committed to planting a revival of Word and Sacrament infused by the Holy Spirit across the Upper Midwest.
Immanuel Anglican Church is a member of the Anglican Church in North America. Anglicanism is a worldwide body of Christians responding to God’s revelation through Jesus Christ. Anglicanism brings together the authority of the Bible, the historic faith, and the beauty of structured prayer. It is rooted in tradition, yet contemporary in practice. It is united in substance, yet diverse in expression. We are part of a global family living out our faith in local communities.
Missionary Partners
Tyler & Lara Patty | Ostrava, Czech Republic
Tyler and Lara Patty were Immanuel’s first missionaries, sent in 2018. Tyler and Lara long to see leaders equipped with the Word of God to serve the Church effectively. They live in the city of Ostrava, Czech Republic and support young church-planters through discipleship and biblical training.
In 2019, they launched the Czech campus of ForMission College, offering an accredited bachelor’s degree in Theology, Mission, and Ministry. Through this, they are training young leaders across Central and Eastern Europe to be effective ministers of the gospel. Tyler and Lara have three sons: Judah, Asher and Simeon.
Michael & Kayla Parker | Santa Fe, New Mexico
Michael and Kayla Parker were sent from Immanuel in 2023. After graduating from seminary in the Chicago area, Michael and Kayla discerned a call from the Lord to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where they currently minister on two college campuses with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. They share the broader vision of InterVarsity: to see students and faculty transformed, campuses renewed, and world changers developed.
In Santa Fe, the Parkers are ministering on two campuses; St. John’s College (a classical school) and Institute of American Indian Arts (a tribal college). In addition to campus ministry, Michael and Kayla are also worshipping at and supporting an Anglican church plant in Santa Fe. The Parkers have one daughter, Ramona.
