Immanuel’s Ministry Residency | 2021
Immanuel is currently developing and piloting a Ministry Residency Program that combines “hands-on” ministry experience with support for individuals discerning a vocational call to ministry. In 2021, Abigail Ebensberger is helping us to explore and form how this process might work in our church.
Abigail Ebensberger | Worship Arts Resident
Abigail Ebensberger joined our staff as a Worship Arts Resident in August 2020. As a “resident,” Abigail leads our worship ministry at Immanuel while receiving time, coaching and resources to develop her ministry skills and to discern her long-term call toward vocational ministry in the Church.
A key part of the Ministry Residency Program we are building is fundraising. This is modeled after our cathedral church, Church of the Resurrection. Fundraising is a way of gathering a community of support around someone who is sensing a vocational call to ministry.
If you would like to give a gift to support Abigail in this Ministry Resident position, you can use the link below (or sign into Immanuel Online to set up a recurring gift).
Interested in discerning a call to ministry?
The program described above is a pilot Ministry Residency Program. We are not currently inviting applicants to this program at Immanuel.
